We are looking for a kitchen hand/Dishwasher for the indian vegetarian kitchen in The Basin.
Shifts include daytime, nights upto 10pm, weekends and public holiday shifts.
The role may suit a student or temporary Visa holder.
Key responsibilities include: Dishwashing Kitchen assisting and cleaning Stock counting General maintenance tasks
- Be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and punctual.
- Have good time management skills.
- Be physically fit: you should be comfortable lifting large heavy (15kg ) objects.
- Understand safe hygiene practice with regards to food handling and working in a food production environment.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have good numeracy (for stock counting) Possess full or partial working rights.
Qualities that are not absolutely necessary but will be highly valued:
- Experience in Indian cuisine.
- Live in or near Bayswater, Knox area or have own means of transport
- Desirable if you have prior experience working as a kitchen hand
