Escape Portal is an E-Sports lounge located in Cannington, offering a vibrant and inclusive space where gamers can connect, compete, and unwind. Whether it’s PC gaming, console play, or simply catching up with friends, our mission is to create a fun, welcoming, and clean environment that keeps customers coming back.

We’re on the lookout for an energetic, hands-on **Assistant Venue Manager** to join our team full-time. This is a unique opportunity to blend your leadership skills with your passion for gaming while helping shape the customer experience and supporting our fantastic team culture.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Leading and Motivating**: Support and guide a close-knit team, helping them deliver top-tier service every shift.

**Community Engagement**: Interact with our customer base both in-venue and online, contributing to our social media presence and building strong relationships.

**Event Support**: Assist in organising and running events—from handling bookings to light setup of gaming equipment.

**Operational Excellence**: Maintain stock levels, oversee gaming station upkeep, and ensure the venue runs smoothly day-to-day.

**Service & Sales**: Process transactions accurately, handle customer queries, and maintain daily financial records.

**Problem-Solving**: Confidently troubleshoot customer issues, including basic to intermediate tech support.

**Roster & Availability**:
This is a full-time position of **76 hours per fortnight**, with shifts spread across **Monday to Sunday**, including **nights, weekends, and school holidays**. Flexibility is essential.

**What We’re Looking For**:
Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role, ideally in hospitality or a customer-facing environment.

A current WA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

A proactive, energetic mindset with the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to take charge when needed.

A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).

A genuine **passion for gaming and gaming culture**.
