This exciting opportunity allows you to be the driving force behind connecting families to local services and creating lasting, meaningful relationships that pave the way for brighter futures
**What You’ll Do**:
**Create Pathways to Opportunity** - Take the lead in identifying and developing pathways to critical community services and resources. Help families access opportunities in **employment, education, housing**, and **social participation**, while crafting valuable resources to ensure long-term success.
**Connect Families to Their Communities** - Encourage and empower families to engage with local groups, events, and activities. Help them discover the support systems and connections that will enhance their lives.
**Support Growth and Skill-Building** - Partner with FPRR providers to guide families in developing **practical life skills** and discovering new opportunities for personal growth in areas that matter to them most.
**Promote Inclusivity and Engagement** - Work closely with local services to enhance engagement with diverse **community resources** and **cultural groups**, ensuring families are supported in building the skills and connections that lead to **positive outcomes**.

**This is a Full-time Fixed Term (until 30/06/2025) opportunity based in Bendigo within our Family Preservation & Reunification Response Program. The position reports to the FPRR Practice Leader.**
**Key Selection Criteria**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant work experience in a relevant field which supports an understanding of community development, key child development issues relating to young parents and their families who have complex needs.
- Well-developed understanding of the FPRR and/or family services and the needs of the families engaged in the program.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, targets, and key deliverables of the program.
- Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.**For a full listing please view the Position Description at the bottom of this page.**
