Gis Officer

**The Role**

We are currently seeking a highly capable **GIS Officer** to join our growing **Data Science team**. This role is **based in Toowoomba** and requires **in-person work** — remote working is **not available**.

You will perform advanced GIS tasks and spatial analysis, working with satellite imagery, agricultural mapping tools, and contributing to key data-driven projects in agriculture and environmental science.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct advanced spatial analysis using **ESRI ArcGIS**:

- Process and interpret **satellite imagery** (including high-resolution datasets)
- Work with **AgLeader SMS** software for agricultural data management
- Use and maintain **CRM systems** for spatial data integration
- Prepare high-quality maps, reports, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with the Data Science team on geospatial solutions for agriculture

**About You**

We are looking for someone with:

- A **Master’s degree or higher in GIS**:

- **Advanced skills in ESRI ArcGIS**:

- Proven experience with **AgLeader SMS**:

- Experience using **CRM software**:

- Excellent written communication skills
- Background in **agriculture or environmental science**:

- Strong working knowledge of satellite imagery, band combinations, and image processing techniques

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
