**About Us**
The ANU College of Asia & the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region. The College hosts the largest number of regional experts and specialist academic programs in the English-speaking world, and plays a vital role in informing public policy and Australia's intellectual engagement with the societies, cultures and economies of Asia and the Pacific.
CAP is the centre of excellence for understanding human development and organisation in Asia and the Pacific, and addressing the cultural, economic, environmental, political and societal dimensions of global challenges.
**The Opportunity**
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will be responsible for implementing our digital communication strategy. You will work closely with the marketing and communications team to create content that captivates and engages our target audiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Content creation: Produce high-quality, engaging, and shareable digital content, including articles, profiles, infographics, and social media posts.
- Social media management: Manage our social media accounts, including planning and scheduling posts, engaging with our online community, and tracking performance.
- Website maintenance: Ensure our website is up-to-date with fresh content, and optimise it for user experience and search engine visibility.
- Analytics: Monitor and analyse the performance of our digital communications efforts and use data-driven insights to refine our strategy.
- Brand consistency: Ensure that all digital content and communications adhere to our brand guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital analytics tools.
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.
