
Core/proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner

**Quality Health Care (QHC)** seeks a **Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner** to join our respected team. This is a clinical role, not a general disability support or mental health support position and the successful applicant must have a minimum of **2 years' experience** in developing and implementing **Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plans** under the NDIS framework.
In this role, you will:
- Work directly with participants, families, and stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-based PBS strategies
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and develop Behaviour Support Plans that are compliant with the **NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework**:
- Provide coaching and training to support workers and families on the effective implementation of plans
- Support the reduction and elimination of Restrictive Practices
- Contribute to a collaborative team focused on participant wellbeing, safety, and goal achievement

**To Be Successful, You Must Have**:
- Minimum **2 years of recent experience** as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS
- Current **NDIS Practitioner Registration** (at least Core level preferred)
- Demonstrated experience conducting FBAs and developing PBS Plans
- Solid understanding of Restrictive Practices and the NDIS Commission guidelines
- Degree qualifications in **Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related field**:
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, or complex behaviours
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Australian Driver’s License, First Aid Certificate, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
