Open since 1992, One Tree Altona North Children’s Service is a big part of the local community. We’re always adjusting what we do to make sure our programs reflect the needs of the community and children.

The result is an integrated early childhood service that feels like home, with some educators working here for 15+ years. At Altona North Children's Service, there is a nursery room, toddler room, pre-kindergarten room, activity group, integrated kindergarten, and a sessional kindergarten.

**What you’ll bring**
- Diploma in early childhood
- Valid Working with Children Card
- National Police Clearance
- First Aid & CPR certificates
- 2+ year experience in a similar role & childcare setting
- Strong organisation & time management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

**What you’ll do**
- Provide supervision and direction to reporting staff, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the service upheld to One Tree’s standard.
- Actively create partnerships with families, reporting staff and the community.
- Oversee and ensure the workplace operates within WHS requirements and duty of care of children and their families is maintained.
- Manage administrative duties for the service
- Support on the floor to cover breaks & programming time
- Be a Responsible Person at the service.
