We have an opening for a Manager, Product and Customer Analytics to join our team. This is a permanent position based in our Geelong head office + hybrid working options.

**About the role**

The Product and Commercial team is responsible for GMHBA’s Private Health Insurance products. This includes and is not limited to product build, design, features, pricing, margins, rationalisation etc as well as non-direct channel relationships, fund policy, pricing strategy and rate change, government reform implementation, customer and claim insights and COVID support packages.

Reporting to the Head of Product + Commercial, this role will be responsible for:

- insights to support decision making for product and proposition competitive positioning, growth and sustainability,
- insights and opportunity development utilising customer data (behaviour and demographics) to optimise product performance; and
- supporting the execution of product initiatives.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in analytics, maths, commerce or business.
- 5 years + experience within a commercial, product or analytics role.
- Advanced skills in SAS, Python, R, and / or other data management and analytical models to generate insights, forecasting and other data mining capability.
- Proven experience in executing as well as insight and innovation.
- Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to critically analyse issues, consider options and develop recommendations based on solid reasoning.
- Proven experience in developing innovation and as well as executing initiatives.
- A commercial mindset with proven experience in determining and implementing strategic objectives
- Proven experience conveying and cascading information and ideas, through a variety of media, to individuals or groups in ways that engages the audience and helps them to understand and retain the message.

Highly desirable
- Private Health Insurance knowledge highly desirable.
- Experience in HAMBS (customer management platform).
- Experience in complex analytical models, forecasting and data mining techniques.
- Proven experience in consumer research and segmentation.
