**Role Description/Criteria**

MacKillop College invites qualified outdoor educators with a passion for leading, organising and delivering, comprehensive and safe experiential programs for young people, to join our dynamic team.

Outdoor Educators are entrusted with leading, organising and facilitating a safe and well-rounded experiential learning experience that fosters personal growth and a deeper connection to the environment.

The ideal person will have a passion for educational field work and possess a broad range of knowledge and skills that will assist students to participate in a variety of physically challenging activities and environments. To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit, adaptable to multiple and unpredictable environments, have a commitment to working safely and have a friendly, calm and approachable attitude.

As a Catholic College, our staff must have an active commitment to working in and supporting a school culture that reflects gospel values and a pastoral approach towards student and staff wellbeing.

The successful applicant will commence Term 1, 2025 as a permanent full-time employee.

- an ability to cultivate respectful relationships between students and staff
- experience working with groups of young people
- excellent communication for safety, skills development and teamwork
