Room Leader

An exciting Leadership opportunity has arisen at our wonderful campus catering for up to 90 children daily in Redfern.
We are looking for dedicated Early Childhood professionals with the skills and experience to sucessfully take on the role of room leader.
You will be collaborating with dedicated educators who have exceptional relationships with children, families and the local community. This centre has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership and passionate educators who genuinely love their job and value their career in Early Childhood
Room Leader role
As room leader, you will mentor and guide your colleagues as well as collaborating with the leadership team and OAC network.
- You will prepare and deliver age appropriate activities for children with safety and child protection in mind.
- You will supervise and interact with the children as well as leading group times and facilitating opportunities for children to learn through play.
- You will document children's learning using Storypark and share your programming cycle with your team.
- Your role will enable you to act as a mentor to guide and inspire the team, share ideas for best practice and lead critical reflection
