The Adelaide Nine News team is an energetic, professional and close-knit team with a strong focus on delivering high quality live and local news. We are one of Adelaide's biggest newsrooms, with a team of close to 70 people working to deliver 3 local news bulletins across TV and radio each weekday, and local news bulletins on weekends. We also contribute to Nine’s national news coverage across each day.

As the News Producer you will play a pivotal role in getting the news to air. Your focus will be to ensure that the news is delivered fast, but accurately, while ensuring that our high standard and quality is maintained each and every time.

**Job Description**:
**Day to day you will be responsible for**:

- Oversight, production and vetting of news content to be delivered into broadcast news bulletins across the day
- Subbing of news copy/scripts to ensure accuracy, fairness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- News vision checks to ensure accuracy, fairness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Limited liaison with - and supervision of - news teams working in the field

The News doesn’t only happen between 9am and 5pm, so the ability to work across a 24 hour / 7 day roster, including regular weekend work, is essential in this role.

Your positive, friendly and open attitude will add to the fabric of the newsroom and will ensure you quickly become a critical member of the team.

Experience in the broadcasting and TV industry would be great, but it is not essential. We’d also love to hear from you if you're in a newspaper or radio newsroom, and are excited to switch into TV. What is critical is that you are a good writer with a passion for news and media. Your commitment to accuracy and your attention to detail will also be essential to your success.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in producing news, entertainment or sport for TV, radio or newspaper media outlets
- Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Hands-on experience using ENPS or a similar system news broadcast system would be beneficial, but is not essential
