**About the Company**

With over 120 years of supporting the medical profession, MIGA is a specialist insurer offering a range of insurance products and services. As a result of business growth, they are seeking a knowledgeable Cyber Security and Governance Analyst to focus on building a strong information security governance culture.

**About the Role**

In addition to this, some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Implement and maintain an Information Security Governance Framework (ISGF) and identify key areas for improvement in consultation with the Technology & Information Security Manager
- Actively participate in information security audits and respond to recommendations
- Monitor the organisation’s computer networks and cloud systems to identify any violations and security breaches that need to be resolved
- Prepare and create operational reports to document process implementation, improvements made and progress against annual information security testing program
- Preparation of IT security risk assessments and risk management strategies that inform decision making for key security projects that increase MIGA’s security posture and reduce exposure

**About You**

This role will play a major role in building out MIGA's long-term Cyber Security. As such, specialist knowledge and understanding of key industry standards and the regulatory landscape is vitally important.

In particular, experience with:

- Information Security Governance Frameworks (ISGF)
- APRA CPS234 / CPG234 / CPS235
- Operating in a cloud / IaaS environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or 3- 5 years’ experience in an IT Governance and/or compliance role for either an auditing firm or financial services organisation
- ITIL - IT Service Management certification
- COBIT5, NIST or industry related framework
- CompTIA Security+
