The Cyber Security Division is part of the Technology and Digital Programs Group. The Division is responsible for protecting the payments and services we deliver on behalf of government to the Australian community. We also protect the information systems of our shared services clients.

**What we do**
- Protect and defend access to our services 24x7 in our world-class Cyber Security Operations Centre.
- Protect the information systems of our shared services clients.
- Protect our networks and secure our data to mitigate current and future cyber security risks.
- Provide cyber security advice and support to business areas in the development and expansion of services.
- Work collaboratively with the broad cyber security community, nationally and internationally, to share information, ensure best practice and enhance cyber security strategies.
- Raise awareness of cyber security with agency staff and the wider community.

**About the role**
Cyber Security Advice specialists provide ICT security advice and assistance to the agency, delivering policy and/or project advice and research. Cyber Security Advisers deliver management, technical, governance and administrative services to implement security controls and security management strategies.
- Support or lead the delivery of flexible, quality service to improve customer experience.
- Work under the support and/or general direction of senior staff to deliver results.
- Make ethical, evidence-based decisions using sound judgement.
- Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships.
