Sydney- Ancillary Areas- PermanentThis is an exceptional operations team lead position with a well-performing specialist corporate trust business in their Sydney office.

**Ideally you will have some prior cash operations experience, within corporate trust or similar treasury operations function, ideally with some prior Austraclear experience.**

The key focus of the position is to lead a small Operations team of a few staff, as well as work on operations process improvement, with some client interaction.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage 2 staff - the payment operator and part-time document custody officer.
- Identify and manage cross training requirements in order to maximise delegation.
- Improve on existing and develop any new processes and document in ProMapp.
- Assist with overflow Quality Checking as required.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- IT skills and ability to learn new computer systems and to develop processes
- To ensure that information is being inputted into the computer systems such as the banking platforms and Austraclear
- Client liaison
- Liaise with the Banks and Austraclear, understand their products
