We are looking for an energic, motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our Tingalpa site. Reporting to the National Distribution Manager. This position has the overall responsibility to supervise the daily activities of the warehouse and associated external storage facilities. This position is responsible for the effective management and workflow of all receipts, storage, inventory integrity, internal and external sales orders both local and interstate bound. This role is a permanent full-time hands-on role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

**On a day-to-day basis you will**:

- Promptly processing distribution orders/requests including pick packing, shipping of orders, managing stock.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment to comply with WHS. Unload containers and liaise with customers.
- Where necessary use forklifts, pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack and arrange merchandise accordingly.
- Manual handling is involved.
- Manage cycle counts and stock takes as & when required.
- OHS matters with management of personnel.
- Supervision of personnel including induction and training,

**Qualifications** The right person will have**:

- Valid Forklift Licence required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Counterbalance and High Reach
- Demonstrable safety mindset and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Able to lead & work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work accurately and methodically.
- Good numeracy and some IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise work.
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
- An understanding of Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling
