A great opportunity exists for an experienced and skilled Sport Event Coordinator to join the Life Saving Victoria Aquatic Sport team. Bring your passion and expertise to lead the delivery of events on the beach and make a difference to the water safety and lifesaving.
**Who are we?**
Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. Our athletes protect and serve community and sharpen their skills through this exciting and diverse sport. Sport plays a vital role in keeping members fit and active while building their lifesaving skills. We deliver events with our large volunteer workforce.
**How will this position contribute to Life Saving Victoria's mission?**
Lifesaving Sport is an important part of to attract, retain and develop develop (rescue ready) our lifesavers. With a jam packed summer calendar, over 6000 competitions across Junior, Senior and Masters events and across a range of disciplines including beach, pool lifesaving and IRB racing, taking place state-wide, interstate and internationally.
You responsible for the planning, coordination, administration, operations and execution of the LSV Aquatic Sport summer portfolio of events and programs.
This is a fulltime ongoing position.

The role will be based in Port Melbourne, with the ability to work flexibly regional/remote office locations. It does include regular weekend work with flexibility outside typical business hours. Extensive regional travel will be required.
**Who are you?**
This position would ideally suit an experienced sports or events professional who has previous experience in event day administration, logistics and support within either a volunteer-based or membership-based organisation.
