**Casual Marine Operations Crew - Manly Boat Hire**

Manly Boat Hire is one of Sydney Harbour’s longest-running and most iconic hire businesses, offering locals and visitors unforgettable on-water experiences. We’re a small, passionate team based on the Northern Beaches, running a fleet of BBQ boats, fishing boats, and adventure vessels from Little Manly and The Spit, Mosman.

We pride ourselves on creating a fun, safe and professional environment — both for our customers and our crew.

**About the Role**

We’re looking for an energetic and reliable **Marine Operations Crew Member** to join our team.
You’ll help keep our fleet running smoothly and ensure our customers have an amazing (and safe) day on the water.

This role is hands-on, outdoors, and perfect for someone who loves the ocean, boats, and dealing with people.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting customers with check-in, safety briefings and vessel operation guidelines
- Driving and manoeuvring hire vessels (including BBQ boats and tenders)
- Refuelling, cleaning, and securing vessels after hire
- General maintenance and basic mechanical checks
- Launching and retrieving boats as required
- Supporting day-to-day marina and operational logistics
- Providing friendly and professional customer service on the beach and dock

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Is comfortable working around boats and on the water
- Is proactive, reliable, and enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive attitude and works well in a small team

**Bonus points if you have**:

- A NSW General Boat Licence
- Mechanical or marine experience
- Experience in tourism, customer service, or outdoor recreation
- First Aid or CPR certification
