Our client is a leading provider of veterinary diagnostic and analytical services throughout Australia. Their Adelaide laboratory provides animal health diagnostic pathology services to Primary Industries and Veterinarians The laboratory offers an extensive range of tests in the following areas: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Molecular, Cytology, and Histology.

**About the role**
The role of Laboratory Assistant will be part-time (3 days a week), Wed, Thursday, and Friday, working 9 am to 2 pm (no weekends or public holidays).

The position is casual with an immediate start.

Your duties will include specimen reception, answering phone calls, customer service, data entry, basic Cut up in Histology, and loading samples onto the Biochemistry analyzers.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques
- Show initiative and have good analytical decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interact and communicate well with doctors and suppliers.
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills.
