Do you love being around children? Thinking about a career in Child Care?

Maxima, in conjunction with the Adelaide University Childrens Centre, are seeking a nurturing and committed individual to undertake a traineeship within a childcare setting.

Across 12-months you will be working fulltime within the Kindy Room to provide quality care, education, and support to children, as well as studying towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.**

**Duties Include**:

- Assist to prepare and implement programs for children and groups relative to curriculum and developmental abilities
- Complete observation and progress records
- Provide nurturing and consistent care and supervision to children
- Assist team to create a stimulating and encouraging environment
- Liaise with families on a day-to-day basis
- Shadow experienced staff in providing individualised support to children

- Passion for childcare
- Desire to make a difference and support children’s lives
- Ability to build rapport with a variety of groups including children and families
- Thrive working under pressure
- Strong ability to multi-task and think on your feet

**Role Requirements**
- Ability to work between 10am-6pm
- Current DHS clearances (or willing to obtain)
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment
