**Aged Care Traineeships - Personal Care Workers**

**About you**

If this sounds like you, then you’re well-suited to being an aged care Personal Care Worker with Life Care.

To be considered, you absolutely must:

- Have proof of a seasonal influenza vaccination or willingness to obtain
- Have a covid-19 vaccination or be willing to obtain
- Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance for working with vulnerable people/aged care
- Pass a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment

**About the Traineeship**

You’ll learn to collaborate with a team of carers, nurses, cleaners, cooks, and lifestyle specialists to provide an engaging, enjoyable daily experience for residents. You’ll support residents’ daily needs (e.g. you’ll help them to shower, support them to eat, etc.) and partner with them to embrace life and Live Every Day.

As well as on the job training, you’ll undertake 13 industry essential units of study delivered in a classroom setting by Norgrove Training.
