**Position Overview**

Tailored Protection & Security is actively seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to join our team in the Wollongong region. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to delivering high-quality security services within licensed venues. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Security Officer with Tailored Protection & Security, your duties will include:

- Monitoring and controlling access points to ensure only eligible patrons are permitted entry.
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activities.
- Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, and taking appropriate action in line with company protocols.
- Providing a visible security presence to reassure staff and patrons.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.
- Collaborating with venue management and local law enforcement when necessary to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintaining and representing the business through your performance on-field.

**Essential Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

- A current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A).
- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and well-presented appearance.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
