An exciting ongoing opportunity exists for a Business Systems Officer, Cabinet and Committees, to join the Department of Premier and Cabinet Office.

The Cabinet Office plays a leadership role within DPC and across government. It provides specialist policy advice, and coordination and administrative support to facilitate informed Executive Government decision-making and compliance with Cabinet processes and protocols. The Cabinet Office is also responsible for ensuring the security and preservation of Cabinet records, managing correspondence, performance reporting of election commitments, monitoring VAGO audits and managing DPC's relationship with the Auditor-General.

As the Business Systems Officer, Cabinet and Committees, you will play a crucial role in supporting multiple IT platforms including unique database and cloud-based systems that are used to support Government decision making. You will respond to requests for system access, ensuring the appropriate access level and approval protocols are followed. Assisting projects that aim to enhance the team's services, build awareness and improve the management of Cabinet Office systems across DPC and the VPS will also be a requirement of the role.

This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your IT and systems knowledge, technical proficiency and experience with database programming, administration and design, stakeholder management, coordination and relationship building skills, and gain a valuable understanding of DPC's role as a central agency and its primary stakeholders.

**About you**
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and experience with Lotus Notes database programming, administration and design, with experience in developing user interfaces and understanding of best practice user interface design principles
- Sound knowledge of information security principles
- Highly developed service excellence skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management skills
