ACH Group | Executive Leadership Opportunity
About ACH Group
At ACH Group, we believe growing older is a journey, not a destination. For over 70 years, we have been a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care and community services, empowering older people to live good lives through choice, connection, and respect. With a team of more than 1,900 dedicated employees, we are driven by a commitment to innovation, quality, and person-directed care that makes a genuine difference.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Manager, Care & Residential Services will provide strategic and transformational leadership across ACH Group’s residential care home portfolio, quality assurance and central kitchen operations.
This pivotal role will shape the organisation’s nursing and care culture, drive clinical excellence and governance, and ensure operational and financial sustainability. You will lead innovation, the transition to small home models of care, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives that reinforce ACH Group’s position as a provider of choice in the aged care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership that drives a culture of excellence and ensures the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care across all residential homes and services.
- Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the clinical governance framework, ensuring compliance with legislation and accreditation standards.
- Lead improvement in clinical risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement systems.
- Inspire and empower a large multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and professional growth.
- Oversee financial, operational, and workforce performance, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across all sites.
- Champion the integration of digital health and technology-enabled care to improve outcomes and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with regulators, government, industry, and research bodies to advance ACH Group’s strategic goals and influence within the sector.
About You
You are an accomplished executive with a passion for person-centred care and a proven ability to lead large, complex health or aged care operations. You bring:
- 7-10+ years of senior leadership experience in aged care, health, or residential services across multiple sites.
- A strong background in nursing leadership, clinical governance, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- A track record of inspiring and developing teams, leading change, and building organisational capability.
- Exceptional communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing large budgets and delivering performance outcomes.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and relevant clearances.
- Postgraduate qualifications in health administration, management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
Why Join ACH Group?
- Play a leading role in shaping the future of aged care during a time of significant sector reform.
- Join a values-driven organisation where accountability, respect, integrity, trust, and honesty guide everything we do.
- Collaborate closely with an expert Board and Executive Leadership Team, renowned for their depth of experience and commitment to excellence in aged care.
