**The Organisation**
A leading family-owned industrial services organisation with activities including processing, recycling and logistics throughout Australia and New Zealand. With a strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement and customer excellence they are committed to reducing the impact of waste on the community and environment.

As they continue to grow and expand their footprint throughout Queensland, and beyond, they are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join the team and provide operational guidance around best practice whilst also delivering the overall strategy across QLD.

**The Role**
The successful Health & Safety Partner / Advisor will be a business partner and a key influencer to drive positive safety outcomes and culture with key internal stakeholders across QLD. You will need to build strong relationships across the business at all levels to support the development, implementation and ongoing execution of safety initiatives, compliance and injury management. Day to day you will provide daily direction, instructions, guidance and support to team members and assist with the implementation of actions to meet compliance requirements in safety, quality, and environment standards.

**To be considered for this role**
- You will have demonstrable experience of working within a Health and Safety role within ideally a high-risk blue-collar environment.
- Qualifications in Safety or similar preferably a diploma or higher
- Current Drivers License and the ability to travel to multi-sites
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across a diverse portfolio of stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and enjoys working hard.
- Display initiative and can work autonomously.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, confidently speaking to all levels
