**Insurance Administrator**

- We have an opportunity available for a highly organised customer focused Insurance Administrator to manage insurance claims in accordance with legislation, rules and agreed service standards for superannuation schemes administered by Mercer Administration Services.
- The Insurance Administrator will provide expertise and ensure responsive, accurate and empathetic customer service to all internal and external contacts.

**We will count on you to**:

- Provide claimants with courteous, prompt and sensitive customer service, displaying empathy and working towards providing solutions in accordance with all relevant service level agreements.
- Generate and review claims reports of high complexity to ensure accurate records are produced and distributed.
- Distribute new claims notifications and updates to the team in order to ensure information shared is consistent and clear.
- File incoming documentation from clients and underwriters, and provide guidance and feedback to colleagues to keep documentation organised.
- Track receipt of documentation by mail or phone to ensure operational excellence and to maintain ongoing and professional communication with insurers, clients, and underwriters to ensure that client and insurer-related materials are catalogued, distributed, and readily available to the team.

**What you need to have**:

- Experience within a high volume customer service environment.
- Case management experience, ideally obtained within the insurance industry.
- Understanding of legislation, regulations and standards relating to superannuation.

**What makes you stand out?**
- Minimum of RG146, with completion of the Insurance module (as part of Diploma of Financial Services or Superannuation) would be well regarded.
