**About the position**:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Clinical and Care Lead to join our team at our outstanding 49 beds facility in Kogarah. As a Clinical and Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the General Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical care and person-centred services to our residents. Embrace a fulfilling career where your clinical expertise meets compassionate leadership. Kindly be aware that this position includes occasional weekend shifts as part of the rotation.
**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
Strong clinical knowledge and skills; expertise in clinical practices and evidence-based care with a minimum of 5 years recent experience in aged care in an Australian setting and experience in management in aged care or similar.
Leadership and management experience; staff development and performance management.
Strong understanding of aged care standards and legislation; ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Ability to monitor and manage financial sustainability, overseeing revenue and budget.
Excellent communication skills; maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
Capability to identify, assess, and manage clinical and operational risks.
Experience in governance and quality assurance; driving continuous improvement.
Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures.
Sensitivity and respect for cultural backgrounds; promoting inclusivity and diversity.
Commitment to professional development; providing guidance on policies and procedures.
Understanding of Accreditation requirements and quality improvement
Excellent understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification Funding Model (ANACC), continuous improvement, WH&S, and risk management
**Desirable Criteria**:
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
Understanding and empathy with religious based service delivery
Proficiency in spoken Greek and Greek cultural appreciation is an advantage.
Holds a certificate for IPC Lead
