**The Role**

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions in an effective and efficient manner to ensure SRG Global Vendors accounts are managed within established time limits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily processing of invoices
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain and update records
- Reconciliations of supplier statements to invoices
- Receive incoming invoices, match up with purchase orders, code and process in to accounts system
- Process staff expense reimbursements

**Safety, Quality & Environment**
- Immediately report safety issues to relevant Managers.
- Take steps to address / remove / isolate safety issues and risks if within your capacity to do so.
- Ensure all documentation is handled, reviewed and stored in accordance to Company guidelines with particular regard to confidential information.
- Take steps to minimise office exposure to environmental events / hazards.

**The successful applicant will ideally have**:

- Cert IV or Diploma in Finance or a relevant qualification preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in the construction or Mining Industry
- Experience in high volume, multiple company environment preferred
- Strong attention to details and excellent time management skills
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
- Excellent computer and accounting software skills
- Experience with Jobpac and Dynamics 365
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a diverse range of tasks.
