Harwood Grains is a 100% Australian owned and operated agricultural business based in Ballarat, Victoria who specialise in the production of stockfeed whilst providing staff with a fun and energising work environment built on respect, teamwork, accountability, relationships and continuous improvement.

**About the role**

This is a trainee hands-on role working within our busy grain processing, handling, manufacturing, transport and warehousing environment. You will follow safe work procedures and meet production deadlines and customer deliveries to the highest quality standards. We are looking for someone who multi-task to ensure all tasks are adequately covered during peak demand periods.

- Highly motivated with the ability to work positively in a small team environment.
- A good communicator with different type of people at all levels.
- Excellent at managing time and meeting deadlines.
- A problem solver (with a sound mechanical aptitude advantageous).
- Detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Able to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
- Understanding of the Health & Safety best practice or willing to learn under guidance of management and colleagues
- This role will require you to do some ‘heavy lifting", but you’ll not be left to do this alone - just want to make sure you know there is a physical element to the role
- Ability to show flexibility with hours and days when required including renumerated overtime when required
- Hold a forklift license, or willing to obtain a fork lift license.
- Previous experience in a similar role if you have any.
- Qualifications and formal training certification (not mandatory)

**Salary**: $21.82 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
