About the team and role:
The Head of Conference Production is responsible for leading the internal conference production team and contract producers, delivering the strategic growth in new and existing areas of event content, and overseeing RXA’s market-leading conference and education programs.

The Head of Conference Production will drive the conference production process for the business, ensure direct reports and contract producers achieve key milestones, coach and mentor team members to deliver educational content through paid and free to attend conferences across all major B2B exhibitions across the RXA portfolio.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Lead the conference production team to deliver market-leading conference and education programs for the RXA business.
- Create event topic briefs in consultation with Exhibition Directors and schedule and manage team allocations to projects.
- Ensure the conference production team and contractors adhere to the conference production process and hit key milestones and agreed timeframes.
- Drive a team culture of using thorough research and customer insights to evolve and deliver market-leading conference agendas for the business unit.
- Work effectively with the wider business teams, including the Exhibition Directors, Marketing, Sales, Event Production and Operations to help facilitate the management and implementation of the conferences.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, changes and needs of our attendees, speakers, supporters and event sponsors/exhibitors.
- Effectively communicating with senior leaders and industry partners to bring together an impactful speaker line up and engaging agenda.
- Delivering conferences onsite, at times across multiple stages, within a busy and high paced show floor environment.
- Set staffing and responsibilities of the content executive team based in Manila.

What is in this role for you?
- Develop a commercially viable conferences in line with the event KPI’s stipulated in the event topic brief.
- Lead a team who create insightful agendas that bring in a positive response from industry attendees and increase attendance from key markets.
- Provided researched and evidence-based conference programs that on time and to agreed levels with the Exhibition Directors.
- Nurture a team of professional content managers, mentor and coach them to success and drive an inclusive culture.
- Demonstrate player-coach abilities and oversee a minimum of two (2) conference agendas throughout the calendar year.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in producing commercial B2B conferences
- Able to spot trends, present ideas and see opportunities
- Ability to demonstrate excellent research, analytical and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with potential speakers, key event partners and attendees at all levels
- Demonstrate good organisation and time management skills and deliver projects within specified timelines
- Ability to multi-task on many different projects in different development phases
