Trucking Coordinator

Our client is an Australian owned freight & logistics company that specialises in the import/export & touring of live entertainment, TV & Film Production & Exhibitions across the APCA region. As the Trucking Coordinator you would be an integral part of the Trucking Department and be responsible for the coordination and running of their logistics equipment (trucks & trailers).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Entering information & job requests into workflow system as per standard operational proc
- Allocating work to contractors/sub-contractors ensuring service/job tasks are met
- Monitoring and relaying truck movements back to clients
- Keeping on top of truck movements and communicating with sub-contractors
- Ensuring that all written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues & subcontractors is always professional and courteous
- Ensure OH&S/COR requirements are up to date and being implemented
- Complete online training course for COR
- On-site truck wrangling at venues around Australia when required
- After hours work required
- Local 3 tonne truck driving required at times
- Physical lifting, loading & unloading of trucks/containers required

**Role Requirements**:

- Strong work ethic
- Sound knowledge of the Major Australia metro areas required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Calm and professional telephone manner
- Data Entry Skills - intermediate
- Microsoft Office skills - Intermediate
- **Must have Forklift License**:
