**About this role**:
A leading wholesaler of commercial lighting are seeking an efficient and organised Warehouse Coordinator to manage the overall operations of their Sydney warehouse.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the warehouse, including receiving and storing goods and preparing the distribution of product during sales.

**Key responsibilities**
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents
- Safely store products in the designated warehouse locations
- Prepare orders for distribution and ensure accurate picking and packing
- Maintain inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices

**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience as a Storeman or in a similar warehouse role preferred
- Experience in electrical or lighting is preferred
- Physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and carrying heavy items
- Experience operating material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
