About ECHO

ECHO Community Services is a registered charity providing care to the elderly and people living with disability to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.

We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package and 5 days per week for CHSP.

Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same support worker which means that you know the person who is coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support worker providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person’s dignity and well-being. You know and can trust the person attending. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.

**Description**:
We are looking for enthusiastic support workers with certificate III in Individual Support to provide essential Personal care services which involve showering, bathing, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and medications amongst other support requirements in line with the care plan.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Driver’s licence, and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Current satisfactory police clearance.
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to uphold high standards of work.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Minimum 2 days availability to start at 07:00 to cover essential services.
- Evening and Weekend availability is desirable but not compulsory.
