**Must haves**:
- Minimum Cert 4 in Mental Health and/or minimum of 3 years’ experience relevant
experience.
- Experience working with complex mental health, intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) individuals in a support capacity.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Certificate of Completion - NDIS Quality, Safety and You Module
- Current valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Right to Work in Australia such as passport, visa, birth certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccine Digital Certificate
- Availability to do sleep shifts.
- A love of animals
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health/Psychosocial Support Partners to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct support to an individual with mental health needs, helping them to manage their conditions, build coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care tailored to the client’s unique situation.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Confident positive behaviour focused approach to your work is critical.
- Provide one-on-one support to our client, helping them with daily activities, emotional regulation, and social integration.
- Respond to mental health crises in a calm and professional manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself, the client and community at large.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community, including access to services and resources to help them on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, incidents, and any changes in day to day lives.

Pay: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

- Shift work
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates
