**About this opportunity**

This role is in a well established team. The Finance Officer is responsible for financial functions to support both our approved provider offices and corporate offices, to ensure all HCP financial tasks are completed accurately and regulatory requirements are met. Based in our Kew East offices, this opportunity calls for someone with strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills to effectively manage the financial aspects of the HCP program for our clients.

**In this role you will**:

- Provide payment and claiming support to the franchise network for government funded home care packages
- Processing claims through the government aged care online service (ACOS)
- Update client records with Services Australia
- Preparation of home care package monthly client financial statements
- Reconcile client HCP accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the company
- Ensure invoices are prepared and distributed on a timely basis

**About you**
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in a finance role or Home Care Package administration experience
- Relevant accounting, finance or related qualification
- Excellent organisational skills
- A connecting, skilled team player with an eye for operational excellence in a rapidly growing organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong customer service skills with a flexible approach
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; clear and professional demeanour
