About the role

Elders is looking for an Agency Operations Manager to drive the National Livestock, Wool and Grain strategies for Elders, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager - Agency, this unique and high visibility role will integrate with key teams across Elders to support and implement Elders National Livestock, Wool and Grain strategies. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, possessing strong commercial acumen with the ability to build key relationships across the Elders business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the agricultural industry who is keen to dive into a critical operations role with the opportunity to effect real change for the Elders business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of National Livestock, Wool, and Grain Strategies
- Deliver operational support to the Elders Network, including management of the Livestock Data Maintenance team
- Identify and implement improvement activities for Agency operations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and develop financial targets for the Agency product
- Work with the State Agency leadership teams to grow and manage the Elders Agency business
- Work collaboratively with Internal Audit and Legal to address potential legal, regulatory, and governance risks that exist within Agency

About you
- Solid understanding of Australian agriculture (particularly Livestock & Wool)
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance/Agriculture or similar (desired)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships across multiple teams
- Strong communication skills; comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders (including senior leadership)
- Sound judgement and commercial awareness to drive business performance
- Results-oriented; able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results.
