**The Role**:
Searching for a CAD / Drawing Officer with drafting skills, strong skills in technology and understanding of improving processes to increase speed and responsiveness to drafting work.

This is a 12 month contract position with full time hours, Monday to Friday. Possibility of work ongoing or turning permanent.

**Must be available to start ASAP**

**Duties**:

- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Prepare site and building drawings for client facilities across WA
- Validate drawings and information such as evacuation plans, site maps, floor plans etc.
- Conduct inspections to develop AutoCAD site and floor plans
- Create and modify interactive drawings through hyperlinks

**Criteria**:

- Experience in using 3D scanning and drawing software
- Prior exposure to asset management and asset registers
- Understanding of AS 1100
- Advanced technology and process improvement approach
- Advanced MS Word and Excel skills
- Knowledge of building assets including fabric and services
