We’re hiring a **Further Processing Manager **who’ll be based at our processing site in Cannon Hill.

A rewarding and fast-paced role, you’ll provide strategic operational oversight for all Further Processing processes within our world-class production facility. In this role, you will oversee safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance including ensuring employee, food safety and environmental compliance program standards and goals are implemented. You’ll lead strategic and tactical operations and quality management deliverables to ensure customer, product and quality standard requirements are of the highest possible order at all times.

- With an in-depth knowledge of Ausmeat - Beef Specification, you’ll be an experienced leader who’s driven change initiatives within further meat processing and/or retail ready departments
- You’re tenacious, persistent, and most importantly patient. You solve problems, you drive continuous improvement, but you use balance and perspective to achieve long term goals
- You’re not too important to sweep the floor - others follow you because of this
- Bursting with ideas - you’ll be able to identify and implement improvement initiatives without being asked
- A team player - you don’t need other to ask you for help because you’ve already offered
- High focus on product quality and food safety
- Sound knowledge in regulatory requirements.
