**What do you need to succeed?**

To undertake marking duties within the School you will require:

- Completion of a Bachelor of Laws.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work harmoniously in a team and a commitment to collegiality and inclusion.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

To undertake teaching duties within the School you must meet the following additional requirements:

- Completion or substantial progress to a Masters or doctoral qualification in Law; OR a minimum of two years experience as a legal practitioner.
- Ability to provide high quality teaching at undergraduate level
- Complete the video interview assessment via Criteria.

**Additional information**

The QUT LLB(Hons) is an AQF Level 8. As such, there is a requirement that all teaching be delivered by an individual with a degree one level higher than that of the course in which the person teaches. Please note that a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice alone does not meet these requirements and in these circumstances, you will need to provide details of a minimum of 2 years relevant professional legal experience.
