**LIVE CHICKEN HANDLER**

Giglio’s Fresh Chickens is a Poultry Abattoir located in Bonnyrigg, NSW AUSTRALIA and we are seeking a Live Bird Handler to join our team at our Chicken Processing Plant.

Immediate start - Day time work only MON & THURS **4AM **start (**6-8hrs a day**).

We are looking for people who are flexible as when the need arises in order to support the team.

In this role you will be supporting our Primary Processing in processing live birds in a humane manner.

**Daily Tasks**:

- Gripping and hanging chicken in a repetitive manner
- Ensuring livestock is treated humanely by self and others
- Working in a constant moving line to keep up with the production flow
- Able to stand for long periods of time

**To be successful in this role, you will need to**:

- Ability to work with live birds in cold & wet environment
- Comfortable working in a factory environment
- Be physically fit (can lift 5-15kgs) and extremely reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- High attention to detail

Must have Driver’s License as there is NO public transport to location.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
