**About the role**
We’re proud to introduce Catherine House, a newly purpose-built facility dedicated to supporting women experiencing homelessness, including those transitioning from St Bart’s Shelter. This new service offers a safe, supportive and empowering environment where women can begin to rebuild their lives, regain their identities, and move towards independence.
As the Residential Coordinator you will play a key leadership role within the facility. You’ll be responsible for not only overseeing the day-to-day operations, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, but also for supporting and guiding your team. Your guidance and support will enable your team to help women navigate complex systems, overcome barriers, and work towards their individual goals.
**About you**
You’re a compassionate and dedicated leader who thrives in environments that support and empower women. You bring strong experience in leading and guiding teams to create positive change in the lives of women facing complex challenges. Your leadership style is inspirational, grounded in empathy, and driven by a commitment to collaboration and person-centred support.
In addition, you will also possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Experience coordinating teams within community or accommodation services
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and risk management
- Experience managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with policies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Driver’s license
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
