Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

**Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III**
**Salary**:$66,892.28 per annum

**Full Time - Permanent**

We have a full time Early Childhood Educator - Certificate 3 position available at our Mooroopna Children & Families Centre. This position is based in the Long Day Care program, supporting children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The service operates between 7:15am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

We offer planning time, mentoring with the opportunity for further professional development and career advancement.

We are looking for educators who can build trust with families by respecting diversity and connecting to individual cultural needs. You will work in partnership with parents and encourage their involvement in the program

These roles are supported by Greater Shepparton City Council’s Early Years Department and further supported by ‘Our Place’ initiative with the Colman Education Foundation.

Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:

- Certificate III In Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- Current CPR - HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration OR Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
