Category Manager Professional Services

The Category Manager, Professional Services is responsible for providing expertise, advice, and assistance in procuring and managing professional services and consultants. This role also involves developing and owning the professional services engagement strategy, along with associated policies and processes. Additionally, the Category Manager may oversee the management of a Vendor Management System.
This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused individual. You will work within the Procurement team of Corporate Services to ensure compliance with DEECA and Whole of Victorian Government Procurement policies and procedures. Additionally, you will conduct market research and data analysis to continuously improve processes and identify opportunities for innovation.
**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is desirable but not mandatory.
**This is a fixed term position available until 12 September 2025. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**
