Come, share your passion and start your journey with us Our signature restaurant, ‘Miss Mi’, provides a culinary journey through South East Asia; from the lanes and alleys of Shanghai to the markets of Bangkok, 'Miss Mi' embraces the new while honouring the past - creating a multi-sensory dining experience. Located in opposite Southern Cross Station, our 172-room premium hotel is one of Accor’s newest properties in Melbourne and only the second Mövenpick property in Australia **Qualifications**: What we're looking for: - You will possess an unbridled passion for food and a love of sharing your 'food stories' with our customers - You can explain our menu to guests with gusto, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide enthusiastic assistance when recommending wine and beverages - A genuine love of hospitality and the restaurant industry - Be able to find the "Yes" in every situation - An energetic, team-focused individual with a can-do attitude - Enthusiasm to connect with guests and to hear their story - Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient - Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal - Attention to detail - The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends - Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate - In return for your commitment, we will also provide fully laundered uniforms, fantastic training opportunities and worldwide benefits including accommodation discounts from day one Additional Information In return we will offer you - International discounts on Accommodation, Food and Beverage and other tourism services from day one - Endless training and career development opportunities within Australia’s largest hotel group. - Be part of a dynamic hotel environment with a supportive and fun team.
