Tranquil Gardens is a professional landscape construction and garden maintenance company established in 2009. We are looking to grow our team to better manage the diversity of jobs across landscaping and maintenance.

We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener All Rounder for an immediate start, with flexible work arrangements including contract, full time, part-time or casual.

**THIS ROLE WILL INVOLVE**:

- Lawn mowing - ride on, zero turn, cylinder and rotary
- General garden maintenance activities including but not limited to weeding, pruning, hedging, and fertilising
- Reticulation service, repair and modification
- Operating light landscape maintenance equipment including hand tools and motorised equipment such as chainsaws, lawn mowers, brush cutters (whipper snipper) and edger’s in accordance with specified training and manufacturers operation manuals
- Softscapes work including planting, laying lawn and mulching
- To fill seasonal fluctuations you may join our landscape team when needed, work includes:

- Operating Dingo mini digger
- Minor civil and Mini earthworks
- Installing landscape steel, timber and aluminium edging systems
- Paving
- Limestone block work
- Installing garden features such as lights, ponds and screens
- Operating power tools, demolition saw, compactor, brick saw, cement mixer

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Minimum 2 years prior experience in professional lawn mowing and/or garden maintenance.
- Experience in landscaping or direct complimentary trade, such as paving or brick/block laying
- Is looking for a long-term position with career growth
- Well-presented, professional, honest and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with a team or by yourself
- Horticulture, turf management or relevant trade qualification (brickwork, carpentry etc) would be a strong advantage
- Manual C Class licence. LR - HR beneficial.
- Must have own transport - essential
- High energy levels, physically fit and punctual at all times
- Shows initiative
- Experience on mini diggers (Dingo preferred)
- Experiences in working with small equipment e.g. push mowers, trimmers, blowers, brush cutters etc.
- Ability to carry out some of the following with limited supervision: Establish levels to prepare an area for landscape works, paving, brickwork, reticulation, fencing, blockwork.
