2X Safety Advisor| Immediate start | $49h/p + super | WFH/Office

**Your new company**
This state government organisation is looking for someone to provide advice, support and guidance to management and staff to facilitate the implementation and improvement of safety management systems and risk management processes to minimise work related injuries and illness.

**Your new role**
- Provide advice on Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) issues and assist with the completion of risk assessments, programs and safety initiatives
- Monitor WHS performance and assist with WHS audits to provide WHS performance information to support effective planning and decision making and to make recommendations for performance improvement
- Undertake incident investigations and workplace WHS audits
- Prepare detailed reports and submissions in relation to WHS audits, incident investigations and assessments for senior management
- Contribute to WHS improvement projects including identifying and monitoring emerging WHS issues and assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and risk management programs
- Assist management with the WHS consultation arrangements, provide advice and support to Health Safety Representatives
- Assist management with workplace assessments to provide recommendations for best practice solutions
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of WHS education material in conjunction with Education and Training Directorate and identify WHS training needs with local managers

**What you'll need to succeed**

- A valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
