The Logistics Operations team in the H&M Distribution Centre (Warehouse) currently has several DC Associate roles available in the Inbound, Allocation and Replenishment Teams located at Marsden Park. These roles will operate on a Full-Time basis (38 hours per week) between Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work when required.

**Job Description**:
Exact duties may vary across different Teams, but the tasks will include:

- Pick packing and handling stock arrangements to ensure that there is adequate stock for shipment purposes.
- Paying great attention to detail with accuracy and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment where tasks must be completed quickly.
- Handling products efficiently and with duty of care to maintain the flow of order in the warehouse and ensure excellent garment/product care
- Ensuring orders are ready for transportation and labelled correctly in a timely manner.
- Stacking and compiling the goods into correct containers, preparing for shipments using various kinds of manual handling equipment
- Carrying out minor maintenance tasks.
- Quality control checking the garments/products to ensure they are in excellent condition and not damaged.
- Arranging, placing and sealing garments/products for storage/moving/shipment, as well as marking and tagging items for storage/moving/shipment.
- Complying with work health and safety guidelines to ensure own safety and that of others

**Must have**:

- Excellent organizational, prioritizing and planning skills and ability to work with deadlines
- Good manual skills and ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team
- Readiness to be cross trained in other areas of warehouse operations, as well as physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects safely when unloading and loading containers/trucks. (weight up to 10KG)
- Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to stand and/or walk 8 hours during a work shift, as well as ability and willingness to work overtime at short notice.
- Clear communication skills (both written and verbal).
- A strong 'Safety First' mindset

**Highly Desirable**:

- Appropriate Licenses and hands-on experience operating Forklifts or High Reach machines to move inventory around the DC and to pull inventory from the high racking.

**Qualifications**:
A successful applicant will be:

- Previous experience is not essential, but experience as a store person, warehouse assistant or forklift driver is a bonus.
- A team player with a result driven and business mindset.
- A role model who engages others in our ‘Everyone is a leader’ mindset, while striving to make the AU Distribution Centre 'The Place To '.
- Interested in logistics and operations.
