**What You’ll Do**- This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and support the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) process.- Provide technical advice on planning, inspection, and compliance across Defence sites in NSW, ACT, and QLD.- Conduct audits, site inspections, and deliver environmental and safety (E&S) training including toolbox talks.- Lead the development of inspection regimes, reporting tools, and ensure alignment with Defence and Australian standards.- Manage environmental incidents through timely reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.

**What You’ll Bring**- Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.- ISO 14001 Auditor Certification (recommended).- Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance frameworks and WHS requirements.- Demonstrated experience in environmental management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.- High-level communication, data analysis, and reporting skills.- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
