About the role:
Reporting to the Sports Centre Manager, we are seeking to appoint Learn to Swim Instructors who are enthusiastic team members and are keen to assist children to develop swimming and water safety.
The swim instructor's responsibilities include evaluating each student's performance during swim sessions and providing feedback, completing attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensuring that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order.
The Learn to Swim classes are held at our indoor heated pools. From group lessons, casual lessons, to one-on-one private lessons, our programs are suited to infants up to adults of all ages and abilities, all year round.
About you:
- Austswim or Swim Australia Accreditation (Infant and Access Inclusion qualifications would be highly desirable)
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and upskill in new areas.
Must have flexible availability, weekend availability is essential.
Rates of Pay: $31.38 - $40.68 (casual) based on experience. Junior rates available.
To be eligible for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos of Anglican Schools.
