Finance Analyst

A new opportunity reporting into Commercial Operations & Reporting Manager has become available on a full time, permanent basis. The Finance Analyst will provide support with delivery of internal and external reporting requirements, financial reconciliations and ad hoc financial analysis. This is a hybrid work and can be based from our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations when not working from home.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

- Support the delivery of internal and external financial and performance reporting requirements, monthly and quarterly, which is full business profitability focused.
- Internal & External Reporting
- Manage and lead large scale financial reconciliations as well as providing ad-hoc information, analysis and value-added insights to support decision making.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships and create successful partnerships with your stakeholders, developing a good understanding of the ADF business and the key financial drivers to improve quality of value-added insights.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and developing new processes of reporting and reporting control processes across the team
- Data Integrity and Reconciliation
- Management of Subcontractor invoice files including reconciliation and data verification.
- Manage and lead large scale financial reconciliations and understanding of ADF data model
- Assist with rate card management and support for pricing of rate card changes
- Support the delivery of quarterly audit

**What do I need?**
- Degree qualified in Finance / Business or similar as well CA / CPA qualification or similar (or currently studying)
- 2+ years post-qualified experience delivering management reporting, budget & planning, or FP&A in a large or complex environment
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of building commercial models
- Strong technical ability in the areas of accounting, reporting, budgeting & planning
- High attention to detail, willingness to get hands dirty as part of the role
- Motivated, pro-active, and driven, strive to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to think analytically and commercially and strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts simply and succinctly
- A passion and willingness to understand complex financial reporting processes and drive process improvements and efficiencies
- **This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance.
