**Role Overview**

As the **Retail Sales Consultant**, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Rosebery showroom. You'll work closely with the Showroom Manager to ensure a seamless customer experience, assist in coordinating trade and retail sales, and help maintain the store's visual and operational standards. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in interiors who's ready to take the next step in their retail career.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Customer Experience & Sales**
- Deliver a warm, knowledgeable, and inspiring experience for both retail and trade customers.
- Assist with styling advice, product selections, and sourcing inquiries, particularly for designers and stylists working with Indigo Love products.
- Build lasting client relationships by maintaining strong product knowledge and communicating new arrivals or promotions.

**Operational Excellence**
- Support the Showroom Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation.
- Assist with receiving stock, completing stocktakes, and processing transactions efficiently.
- Ensure the showroom reflects the Few & Far brand at all times — visually, operationally, and experientially.

**Team Collaboration**
- Provide support and guidance to the showroom team, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
- Help onboard and train new team members in customer service, styling, and product knowledge.
- Step into a leadership capacity when the Showroom Manager is away, ensuring smooth operations and consistency.

**Business Support**
- Contribute to achieving sales and service KPIs by identifying opportunities to enhance performance.
- Help analyse sales trends, customer feedback, and trade opportunities to inform merchandising and outreach decisions.
- Coordinate trade appointments and showroom events that strengthen relationships within the design community.

**About You**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail or showroom environment (furniture, interiors, or homewares preferred).
- A genuine passion for interiors, styling, and creating inspiring spaces.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confident using POS or retail management systems (Shopify experience desirable).
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs.
